Alcoa's Vacuum Die Casting Process Wins Global Innovation Award from Nissan Motor
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 17, 2008--Alcoa (NYSE:AA)announced today that it is the recipient of a Global Innovation Award from Nissan Motor Company for its proprietary vacuum die casting process (AVDC) and new, advanced alloys used on the GT-R, Nissan's new flagship, high-performance sports sedan. The award was presented at the Nissan Global Supplier Awards ceremony held recently in Tokyo.

Alcoa-SIE Cargo Conversions 757-200ASF Receives CAAC STC (Alcoa SIE Release June 17)
Alcoa-SIE Cargo Conversions (ASCC) announced today that it received Supplemental Type Certificate approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for its 757-200ASF freighter conversion program. To support the Chinese market, ASCC has also signed a Sales Representative Agreement with Beijing Tuo Hai Consulting Services Company LTD (BTHC).
